"We chose rats because we think it is disgusting that the Highbridge community has rats all over the place.
We think that the city should clean them all up. Rats are not good when they are squashed, but we think rats are interesting when they are pets. It is annoying when you are walking from school to your home and from your home to your school and you have to see rats everyday. It make us mad when we see the rats at home, and also when they are dead in the streets."

" It's the year 2006 and people are walking by the new Yankee Stadium. There's a blue construction wall to cover what used to be a park. The year that Mayor Bloomberg declared the new Yankee Stadium will be built is 2006. Some of Highbridge is protesting about the new Yankee Stadium. The new stadium will finally be finished in 2009. Ever since then, the tennis court and the handball court was demolished. Some officials say that the new Yankee Stadium will have a couple of basketball courts and tennis courts. Even teachers and adults,  some say protesting which includes High Bridge."

"The doo-doo track on 166 Street”

The doo-doo track is still the doo-doo track, but it is getting better. The law says that the dog owners are supposed to pick up their dogs poop, but they just leave it there. If dog owners don't pick up poop, people might step in it and might get mad and tell the police. What could be done about this problem is if they pick up after their dogs, they can make the world a better place. So please, for people out there: Please pick up after your dogs if you want to make the world better. Thank you very much from the Highbridge Horizon."
