What I love about Thanksgiving is that we have to be grateful for everything. We have to give thanks to the Lord for what he has done for us. I have preached about Thanksgiving at my church on Nov. 4, 2005. I set examples of thanks giving like for the poor and I also set examples of giving thanks. You have to give thanks and love and care for the Lord. You could pray on Thanksgiving like I did. I celebrate Thanksgiving the way Christians do. I pray and worship God for my food. On Thanksgiving, I will give food to the poor. I will say something nice to them. I will also preach to some of them. That's my job, really - to be a prophet and enlighten people.   I should then go to my house, put some music on and praise the Lord. Only Christian music and some Christian rap. I must praise the Lord and worship and love him. I should continue his work and mission here and everywhere I go. I also treat others with respect and treat them how I want to be treated.

The smell of food cooking on the flaming stove, the thought of a prayerful moment shared with the people you hold dear to your heart. Thanksgiving makes me feel warm and cared for. I am a young believer in what is special, and Thanksgiving is special to me. Mothers and fathers lovingly kiss and hug their children. They sing song after song with beautiful melodies. They are thankful for the joy of being together and the memory of staying together as a family. I cannot explain how much love is shared on that day and the feelings that I feel when this happens.

Thanksgiving means being with your family like Jesus at the Last Supper. It also means you enjoy delicious food with your family. To have Thanksgiving is so exciting because you bless the food with your family and you laugh and joke with your family. It is amazing because you smell delicious food cooking on the stove. Thanksgiving is very special to me. On Thanksgiving, my family and I go to my grandparents' house to eat. I got my Mom's parents' house and my Dad's parents' house. They cook the best food every Thanksgiving.
